In response to the militaristic approach of the Reagan administration to foreign policy, Chris wrote Save The Children and included it on his 1984 cassette-album, ANYONE'S REVOLUTION. The song is as relevant today, unfortunately, as it was then and highlights Chris' passion to create art that addresses social and political issues. It also highlights the almost Rush-like singing style and notes that he could muster back then! :)

Save The Children was one of Chris' first attempts at programming a drum machine; it was some type of Roland. The driving clavinet and the horns were out of a Roland JX-3P, Chris' first MIDI instrument. When performed today, Save The Children is even more "heavy" than it is here.

SUBSCRIBER SURVEY QUESTION: Chris intends to re-record Save The Children. What do you like about the song? What don't you like about it?
